Accounting and Finance
Potential employees must be well-skilled in the accounting
and finance arenas. Candidates possessing SAP R/3 background
can expect to expand their knowledge of the product and provide
valuable guidance to the company. Typically, Finance employees
will be exposed to all facets of the accounting and finance
functions as well as heavy interaction with multiple levels
within the organization.
Human Resources
Candidates seeking a career in Human Resources should be well
organized, motivated, able to adapt quickly to change, possess
a good working knowledge of compensation, benefits, employment/recruitment
and employee relations. In addition, candidates must demonstrate
a high degree of written and verbal communication skills.
Information Technology
SAP R/3 is the latest in ERP software. Ranbaxy runs SAP R/3
ERP software. Qualified candidates will have at least two
years IT experience, complete working knowledge of the Windows
Operating System, networking and other software packages including
SAP R/3.
Sales and Marketing
The Sales divisions including Brand, Generic, and OTC Sales
call on targeted hospitals, wholesalers, distributors and
large retail chains to sell a variety of Ranbaxy products.
Candidates seeking a marketing career should possess outstanding
communications skills and have at least two years of previous
marketing experience coupled with a bachelor's degree in business
or marketing.
Business Development
Business Development seeks and evaluates business and product
opportunities for Ranbaxy. Prospective candidates should have
a maximum of a bachelor's degree, an advanced degree preferably
coupled with a scientific background and strong financial
and quantitative skills.
Creative Services
The Creative Services Department serves as an in-house resource
for creative solutions responsible for the creation and design
of packaging, advertising and collateral material.
Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance
Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance focuses on the science and
activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding
and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related
problems.
Candidates seeking a position in Drug Safety should have 1-2
years Drug Safety experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Medical candidates seeking a position in Drug Safety should
have a relevant college degree in a health related field;
holders of Pharmacist (RPh), MS, PharmD and MD degrees are
highly preferred.
Regulatory
The Regulatory team plays critical roles throughout the product
lifecycle, from concept through product commercialization.
The team provides strategic, tactical and operational direction
and support for working within regulations to expedite the
development and delivery of safe and effective products for
the healthcare system. Continuous changes in the regulatory
environment, as well as new science shape the dynamic and
expanding scope of the Regulatory team. Regulatory employees
must continually grow their knowledge and skills to be effective
and to advance in their careers. Most individuals enter the
Regulatory profession with prior relevant professional experience
and many have previous experience in scientific and clinical
research, clinical laboratory work, clinical professions such
as medicine or pharmacy, quality and manufacturing.
